Riki Judo Dojo invites you to visit us! You should always visit a martial arts school several times before you make your decision to join. Here are some tips as to what to look for: Is the school or dojo clean? Is there a changing room and is it clean? Look in the restroom(s) and ensure they are clean and well stocked with toilet paper, hand soap and disposable hand towels. Is there a clean and safe practice area for the number of students in the class? Is there a viewing area for parents and visitors? Watch and listen how the teachers and instructors address and teach the students. Are the students following the instruction of the teachers and instructors? Do the students seem to be enjoying themselves? Are the teachers and instructors paying attention to the students and helping them with their techniques? What's your "gut" feeling? As was said earlier; visit the martial arts dojo or school several times before you join. Enjoy and be safe.
